‘Tis the season of giving and the staff at SS&A Albury have ensured that it will be a much happier Christmas for many of those in need.

It may seem like an ordinary ute, but on the 23 December, it’s rivalling Santa’s sleigh as it delivers 89 presents to YES Youth & Family Services in Albury, where the gifts will be distributed to families who are doing it tough this Christmas. The presents include a range of toys for boys and girls of all ages, as well as some special hampers for parents.

The gifts represent over a thousand dollars in donations and were contributed directly to the appeal by SS&A staff, as well as a generous contribution from the SS&A Board of Directors.

Gerard Darmody, CEO at SS&A says: “This was an initiative by staff who are part of our Emerging Leaders Program. They wanted to make a positive impact on those less fortunate this Christmas and should be proud of their efforts.”

YES is a not-for-profit community service organisation that works in partnership with other services in the region to assist with homelessness, crisis accommodation, counselling and school programs. For more information on YES Youth & Family Services, visit yesunlimited.com.au
