On Saturday 11th March, SS&A Albury will host a fundraiser for Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision.
All proceeds raised on the evening will go to Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, a charitable organisation that raises funds to #fightlikemaddie and find new treatments for Bone Marrow Failure, with the aim to find a cure for the syndromes that affect younger Australians each year.
The fundraiser will tie in with the JLT Community Series where St Kilda and Sydney Swans face off in a practice game at Lavington Sports Ground on Sunday 12th March. The match will not only see current players from St Kilda and Sydney Swans team in the region but also legions of devoted AFL fans creating the perfect opportunity to gather and raise funds for Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision.
The evening will feature a Q&A session with Nick Riewoldt, brother of Maddie and former captain of St Kilda; Hugh Goddard, current St Kilda player; Justin Koschitzke, former St Kilda player and will be hosted by Steve Murphy, 2AY broadcaster. There will be an auction with items from St Kilda, Sydney Swans and SS&A Albury.
Gerard Darmody, CEO at SS&A says: “SS&A are proud to be able to host such a special fundraiser. We encourage all those in our community who love their AFL to join us and bid on the auction items to help us reach our goal of over $20,000 donated to Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision.”
Tickets cost $120 each or a table of 10 for $1,200, includes a three-course dinner and beverages. Visit the club or phone 02 6041 2222 to purchase.
